Dirty Dozen Watching Party
Join the South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association to cheer on the 38th Dirty Dozen. Bicyclists will ride up Eleanor Street on Saturday October 23, 2021. We will be cheering at 2410 Cobden Street from 2:00PM to 4:00PM with hot coffee and hot cocoa to drink and serve to the riders. If you’re not familiar, the Dirty Dozen is a bicycle race up Pittsburgh’s 13 toughest hills. Welsh Way is hill #11, and Eleanor Street is hill #12.

StepTrek 2022
Pittsburgh StepTrek is the annual South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association fundraiser that supports projects for the betterment of the community. This family-friendly event combines photography, historic narrative and a sense of neighborhood dependent upon steps. On Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. we need a bit of your elbow grease to help beautify the hillside at the corner of Barry & Mission Streets. Through the City of Pittsburgh, the South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association was awarded a Love Your Block grant to beautify the site.
