CMU volunteer day in South Side Park
Join us from 9:30-12:30 on Saturday April 6 to work on a cleanup, trail building, and invasive species removal in South Side Park. Carnegie Mellon Students will be volunteering to help us in conjunction with their 1000plus Day of Service. All tools and Safety materials will be provided by the Student Conservation Association who will be leading the effort. Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Garden Planting
Please come out to help green up the South Side Slopes! The planting of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy sponsored gardens at Josephine and Greeley & Josephine and Barry will happen on Saturday, May 4th. Gateway Clean Up
Help pull some unsightly weeds and pick up litter around our gateway to the Slopes, South 18th Street. We'll meet at the base of the steps and work our way up the street, time permitting. South Side Park Cleanup
South Side Park Clean up with University of Pittsburgh students. Starting at 10 am and going until approximately 1pm. We will meet at Bandi Schaum Community Garden and walk the Ol' Renziehausen Loop Trail to do a post-winter trash clean up, with some possible invasive removal.

Carnegie Mellon University students will be helping the South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association to clean up Monongahela Park for the Spring. We will supply the gloves, trash bags, and tools. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and expect to get a little dirty.
