Take left. Built in 1951, the steps connect to Patterson St. above and Mission St. below. While descending, take in the view of the Mon River, Oakland and the Flats in front. To the left is downtown. When ready, descend 23 steps to Wellington St. and an additional 89 steps to grassy lot below 494 Sterling St. Across are Sierra St. Steps. A tall, weathered wood fence rises to their left.
