National Trails Day in South Side Park
This event is in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Celebrate National Trails Day by helping us maintain the trail corridor in South Side Park. Breakfast will be provide courtesy of Giant Eagle! Join us for the first volunteer day at the old Knoxville Incline Overlook & Trail along Brosville Street. Tasks will include: Laying mulch, trimming weeds, and general site prep and clean-up followed by pizza. Brosville Blitz
Are you sick of the trash lining Brosville Street? Join us and help clear out this eye sore at the South Side Slopes first clean-up of the year. Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Garden Planting
There will be youth volunteers helping the South Side Slopes resident volunteers plant the two Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Gardens along Josephine Streets at Greeley and Barry. Spring Slopes Cleanup with CMU
Join the South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association and Carnegie Mellon's 1000plus Day of Service for a Spring clean up in the Slopes! We will be cleaning up the Church Route as well as some notable problem areas such as under the Mission St Bridge and the Eleanor Way Steps. Depending on the number of neighborhood volunteers students we are assigned we will hit more areas throughout the neighborhood.

Slopes Garden Plantings
Start your Memorial Day Weekend right, by joining your neighbors in greening the South Side Slopes!
